Arrival of Colour

Spring Equinox (taking place on March 19th 2024 this year) marks the astronomical beginning of the Spring Season. It is time to wake from the deep, dark slumber of Winter and to honour the arrival of Spring.

To appreciate the significance of the changing of seasons, we are celebrating colour at Gallery Nine!

A Spring Exhibition begins on the 8th April - 31st May. We are excited to showcase vibrant pieces created by a range of wonderful artists (including Allan Manham, Tessa Pearson and Lesley Strickland), reflected in all of their work is the playfulness of colour.

What better way to welcome Seasonal change and the rebirth of nature than through an energising Exhibition? 

As flowers bloom and leaves slowly unfurl, the first signs of spring are flourishing outside and at Gallery Nine we are eager to reflect this energy through a new collection of work.

A fresh breath of life enters the walls and shelves of our gallery, and why not too, can it happen in your own home!

This time of year is known for its assertiveness in change, and regaining of balance, and we encourage you to join in the celebrations and buy something special (either for yourself or as a gift!). Invite colour and light back into your life and into your home.

Whether it be a beautiful print to admire every morning while drinking your coffee, or a lovely ceramic pot to fill with flowers, or even a wonderful piece of jewellery to brighten up your wardrobe, there is so much to choose from at Gallery Nine!
